Warranty Policy

Warranty refers to the situation where the shopper wants to keep the product, but it needs to be in good working condition.

The following are key highlights for warranty:

  1. Whether a warranty is offered on a product or not should be specified and the related info like time period, coverage and by whom i.e., merchant vs manufacturer

  2. Warranty info should be accessible and displayed e.g, product delivery information, brands and barranty page to review what is offered by each seller.

  3. Make clear the different warranty types and what’s covered i.eBrand warranty: manufacturer warranty covers defects under normal use and company/brand will provide free repair and/or replacement services within warranty period; service warranty - from merchant/seller and varies between sellers.

  4. Help offered by Walee - only information as after-sales service is owned and managed by either the brand or the merchant supplying the product on Walee.

  5. Publish information where available about where shoppers can directly approach where given by merchants e.g., authorised service centers.
